Dining Menus
Publish daily menus with serving times at dining locations around your trail system using a Dining point.
A Dining point of interest lets you publish your menus for each day of the week, with serving times, at any location on your map. Visitors open the point to see today's menus, and the same menus can appear on digital signage.
Dining menus are only available on the Double Diamond and Star plans. On other plans the Dining type can still be selected, but the menu editor is replaced by a notice and the point behaves like a plain marker.
#Add a dining point
- Click Points in the top navigation bar, then New Point.
- Set Type to Dining.
- Enter a Name (for example, the lodge or cafe name) and a Description.
- Set the Status and, if needed, Point Hidden.
- Under Dining Options, pick a day of the week with the Su through Sa buttons.
- Click Add Menu. A sample menu is inserted so you can see the layout. For each menu, fill in:
- Menu Title, such as Breakfast or Lunch.
- Menu Body, a rich text editor with headings, bold, italic, underline, lists, and alignment. Use headings for sections and prices, bold for item names.
- Start Time and End Time for when the menu is served.
- Add as many menus as you need for that day, then switch to the next day and repeat. Use Move up / Move down to reorder a day's menus and Remove to delete one.
- Click the map to place the point, then click Save.
#Edit menus
Click the dining point on the map or in the Points of Interest list, click Edit Point, change the menus, and click Save. Menus are stored per day, so you can set up a weekly rotation once and leave it in place.
